"I often say that enrolling our children at The Broad Street Children's Cottage is one of the best parenting decisions my husband and I have made
—and that's no exaggeration! Initially, what drew us to The Cottage in 2020 was the promise of days spent outside and learning through play. That was definitely delivered, but along with so much more.
Rote memorization isn't a priority here; instead, the focus is on how to problem-solve, how to interact with peers of all ages, how to see the value in an empty cereal box as a perfect canvas for art projects, and how to put kindness above all. These are the core values at The Cottage. Children are seen and heard. They are allowed to be their unique selves. They are loved. We have now sent all three of our children to The Broad Street Children's Cottage. When it is all said and done, we will have spent 8 years here, and they really have been nothing short of magical."

Our Philosophy

We believe children thrive when they are given the space, time and materials to construct their own learning. Opened in 2011, Broad Street Children's Cottage provides a nurturing environment in a home-like setting with small group sizes and educated care givers.
